1902 United Confederate Veteran Celluloid Dallas, Texas

This is a United Confederate Veterans pin from the Dallas, Texas reunion held 22-23 April, 1902. The pinback measures 7/8" across and has an image of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Confederate 2nd national Flag and a Confederate battle flag on the face. Around the perimeter of the badge, printed in blue lettering, is CONFEDERATE REUNION at the top of the pin and DALLAS, TEXAS, 1902 along the bottom. The image of Forrest is above and between the crossed flags, below his image in blue letters it reads N.B./FORREST. The colors of the pinback are still very bright and vibrant. There are no scratches or any other blemishes on the face of the pin. The back of the pin has a paper cover showing that the badge was made by Whitehead & Hoag. The pin itself is securely attached. This pinback will make an excellent addition to your UCV badge and pin collection.
