Header for a UCV Reunion Ribbon with Nathan Bedford Forrest Image
Item #: WR756

This is a header for a United Confederate Veteran's reunion from the early 1900's. It has a gold gilt that has a very eye pleasing patina. The header has a rectangular opening at the top to accommodate a piece of paper with an individual's name written on it. Below the box for the name is a celluloid image of Lieutenant General Nathan Bedford Forrest. It is 1 7/8" wide and 1 3/4" high. There is no makers mark on the back. The reverse of the header is provisioned for a ribbon and still has the pin reporting for duty. I have seen headers similar to this one used on Forrest Cavalry Camp and Reunion staff badges. If you have one of these Forrest staff ribbons but your header is damaged or missing, this will certainly get you back in business!
