Excavated Musket Ball & Flint Recovered from the Bunker Hill Battlefield in 1845

This is a musket ball and a piece of flint recovered from the Bunker Hill Battlefield in 1845. I believe both of these relics were American used, but I'm not 100% sure. There is a photocopy of a newspaper article written in the Boston Times covering the discovery of these artifacts, along with several full skeletons and other relics that comes with the relics. The article tells how workers were digging a well on the battlefield when the discovery of the human remains was made. There area where the skeletons and relics were uncovered had formed part of a main trench line used by the Americans during the battle. Apparently the remains were buried right at the spot where they fell, but the article does not say whether they were American or British. The musket ball, flint, a small map depicting the Bunker Hill battlefield and the newspaper article will come in a riker case.
