This book was written by William F. McGuinn and Bruce S. Bazelon, published in 1990, the narrative is 144 pages and is illustrated with black and white photos. It is a comprehensive listing and discussion of makers and suppliers of American military buttons of the period circa 1790 through 1920. This book is a must for the Civil War button collector and will be an excellent addition to an American history reference library. This hard back book is in very good condition, but does not have a dust cover.
