This is a photograph of the Tennessee Division of the United Confederate Veterans. The picture was taken in front of the courthouse in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on 16 September, 1930. The image shows the aging veterans, some in their UCV uniforms, and others dressed in suits and ties. Many of them have their families with them in the photo. This was not a National Reunion event, but I have not been able to find out any information as to event they were attending. This is a later image of Confederate veterans taken in 1930. The frame measures 21 1/2" wide, 18 1/2" high with the photo being 13 1/2" wide and 10 1/2" high. Here's another great candidate for the UCV collector!
