This is a US Model 1936 pistol belt used during World War II. The Khaki web belt measures 42" when fully let out, accommodating up to a 40" waist. There weren't to many fat Infantrymen back then! The belt has no stains, shows honest wear and all the eyelets are present. Some of them do have some verdigris, but that can cleaned up easily enough. The US stamp to the left of the ammo pouch snap is clearly visible. There is no makers mark stamped on the inside of this belt. This is a nice example of a Model 1936 pistol belt that saw service through the Korean War.
