US Model 1874 Picket Pin Scabbard

This is a US M1874 picket pin scabbard from the Indian Wars period. The scabbard measures 12 3/4" in length and 2" at the widest point. The bottom strap is broken and the retaining strap for the pin is broken. The leather retains none of the original color and is a little on the dry side. All the original stitching is tight and unbroken. Both straps retain the roller buckles, and the ring on the back of the scabbard is still present.
