This is an original copy of the Dixie Gun Works 1st Annual Nathan Bedford Forrest Musket Festival tabloid. The eight page paper measures 11 1/2" wide and 15 1/2" tall. This event, sponsored by Dixie Gun Works, was targeted towards the North South Skirmish Association and other similar organizations. This tabloid covers the 1st Annual event and announces and promotes the 2nd Annual event as well. There are plenty of black and white photos, schedule of events, and a list of local businesses that donated prizes. This unique advertising tabloid for Dixie Gun Works is in very good condition to be 46 years old. There are no rips, tears or stains and the paper has just a hint of yellow to it from age. This will make a cool little piece to just move around in the old war room!
