This is set of four reprints of civil war battles done by Kurz & Allison in the 1880's in chromolithograph. These prints were reproduced in the late 1900's, circa 1980. Kurz & Allison produced 36 battle scenes from the American Civil War between 1886 and 1893. This set of four prints comes inside a very attractive portfolio. Included in this set are the prints "Battle of Fort Sanders", "Battle of Champion Hills", "Battle of Resaca" and "Battle of Atlanta". The prints measure 20" wide and 14" tall, with the actual images being 18 1/2" wide and 13" tall. Each print has the name of the battle printed in the bottom left corner, with a copyright mark of J.B. in the bottom right corner. This set is in very good condition. The actual prints are in excellent condition, the portfolio they come in has some wear and tear. These would look great framed, or displayed together with the portfolio.
