Two .56/50 Spencer Rifle Cartridges with J.G. Headstamp

This is a set of two .56/50 caliber Spencer rifle rimfire cartridges sued during the Civil War and on into the Indian Wars era. The copper cased cartridges have a J.G. head stamp for the J. Goldmark company. The case length is 1.175" with a projectile diameter of .502", with an overall length of 1.645". The projectiles, round noses, have an aged, light gray patina to them. The copper case has a beautiful bronze patina. These rounds were made for the Spencer rifle. There aren't a whole lot of these rimfire cartridges floating around out there. If you have an ammunition collection, these two need to be in it!
