WWII US Infantry Enlisted Overseas Cap

This is a an overseas cap worn by US Infantry enlisted men during World War II. The piping identifies this one as used by the Infantry from the Light Blue color. The olive drab color of the cap really makes the piping stand out. This is a private purchase, likely overseas made one as there are no clothing labels or stamps on the inside. The remnants of a sweatband near the right rear of the cap. The lining inside the cap also leads me to believe this is a private purchase cap, definitely not standard military issue. There are no names inked inside the cap. There is one small moth hole in the cap. This is just a nice representative cap worn by a US Army Infantryman during WWII.
