This is a National Socialist Motor Corps (National Sozialistisches Kraftfahr Korps) female driver's badge from the World War II era. The The NSKK can trace it's origin back to 1923 when the SA formed a Motor Section (Kraftfahr Ableitung)to transport personnel. This badge is circular in shape and measures 28.26 mm in diameter. It is painted in red enamel, with the form of a steering wheel around the perimeter of the badge. Where the three spokes of the wheel meet at the hub is a swastika. The letters N.S.K.K. are above the swastika and KREIGSKRAFTFAHRERIN is below the swastika. This translates to a "War Time" motor vehicle driver, with the IN denoting a female. The pin on the reverse is original to the badge and does not show any repairs. The RZM stamp is above the pin, with the code of M1/35 below the pin. This code represents the manufacturer of Wachtler & Lange located in Mittweida. If you have a WWII German pin collection this will fit into it nicely.
