Item #: WR1147

This is a World War II German officer's brown leather belt with a double claw buckle used during World War II. The buckle is pebbled zinc with an applied silver wash. The buckle retains very little of the silver, it is visible only in the recessed areas. There is no visible makers mark or RZM code on the buckle. The brown leather belt is in well used, but good condition. The makers stamp of PRINGER & Co/BERLIN/1941 is found on the back side of the leather securing the buckle. The size stamp is no longer visible on the belt, but it measures 47 in length and 2 1/4" wide. The condition of this one shows that it was definitely used. This is a very good example of a brown leather waist belt that was used by officers of Wehrmacht, SA and NSDAP during World War II.
