WWII US Fourth Corps Patch

This is a US Fourth Corps patch from the World War II period. The patch measures 2 1/2" in diameter. The patch is round in shape, with two triangular sections in blue and two triangular sections in white to denote the numerical designation of the unit, with a green border. The US Fourth Corps was first organized on 20 June, 1918 in France. It demobilized on 11 May, 1919 in Germany. The US Fourth Corps was constituted in the Regular Army and activated on 27 June, 1944 in Italy. It operated in the North African/Mediterranean Theater of Operations, and received campaign streamers for Rome-Arno, North Apennines and Po Valley campaigns. The one piece patch is all machine sewn. There is no moth damage on the patch. This patch has never been on a uniform. If you collect WWII US patches you gotta have one of these.
