Early 1900's UCV Parade Flag
Item #: WR15

This is a small United Confederate Veterans flag from the early 1900's. It measures 12" x 12" and is made of thin cotton material. It is of one piece construction, with the blue St. Andrews cross and white stars all being dyed onto the red banner. The only stitching is the seam around the border of the flag. It looks as if the flag was staked onto a wooden staff at some point. There are three small holes along one edge that have been lightly stained, like the metal pins rusted and leeched onto the cloth. The colors of the flag are still very vibrant and the stars are crisp. This small little veterans flag will fit nicely into your UCV collection.
