Confederate Made Slim Jim Holster for the Model 1851 Colt Navy
Item #: WR109
This is a Slim Jim holster from the Civil War era. The black leather is still very supple, showing wear on the back side where it rubbed against the belt and on the top edge of the closure flap. The stitching is all very strong and tight. There is no plug in the toe, don't believe there ever was. This one fits an 1851 Colt Navy like a glove! The single wide belt loop is still securely attached, being sewn on versus rivets. For the age, this is one of the nicest holsters to come through the shop in quite a while. It sure would look great beside your Colt revolver.
