This is a US Model 1924 First Aid pouch used during World War II. The OD#3 pouch is stamped on the rear with the maker mark of NASCO AWNINGS INC and dated 1940. It is also free of damage or stains but shows honest use. Instead of containing a Carlisle bandage, this pouch has been turned into a cleaning kit. Inside are items necessary to perform maintenance and cleaning for the M1911A1 used during WWII.
