Korean War Model 1951 Wool Field Trousers

This is a pair of M1951 wool field pants used during the Korean War. The pants are in unissued, mint condition. They are marked TROUSERS, COLD WEATHER: MEN'S FIELD, WOOL, M-1951 and are made by the TENNESSEE APPAREL CORP. This pair is a size medium regular, where the waist would accommodate sizes 31" - 35" and inseams from 29 1/2" - 32 1/2". They were worn with either a belt or field suspenders. Adjustable tabs are on each hip to help achieve a better fit. The pants are free of any damage or stains. This is an excellent example of an enlisted mans field pants from the Korean War era!
