Early 1900's Tennessee State Seal Button

This is a two piece Tennessee State seal button from the early 1900's period. The back mark on the button is GOODWIN'S PATENT JULY 27 1876. The two piece button is in very good condition. The majority of the gilt remains, but has taken on a dull gold patina. There is no damage to the button, the shank is still standing straight and tall. This is a nice piece for your US State button collection!
