WWII US Model 1928 Pack Carrier Dated 1942

This is a US Model 1928 pack carrier used during World War II. The pack carrier was a triangular attachment to the have Model 1928 Haversack, referred to by GI's as the "diaper". The pack carrier was basically an extension of the haversack, designed to allowed the soldier extra gear such as a blanket or shelter half. The outer flap is stamped US, with the makers stamp of LANGDON TENT/& AWNING CO/ 1942 inked stamped on the inside. This Model 1928 pack carrier is in very good condition, with all buckles and straps securely attached. There are no rips, tears or stains anywhere on the pack carrier. If you want a complete US WWII Infantry set of issue gear you gotta have one of these!
