WWI US Model 1910 Summer Tunic
Item #: WR626

This is a US Model 1910 tunic from World War I. The summer version of this uniform is a little more difficult to find, as it is made of cotton twill fabric instead of the more common wool fabric. The jacket, or tunic, is unlined and is of a single breast design. There are five subdued bronze general service buttons on the front, along with six smaller general service buttons. The jacket has a standing collar, shoulder epaulettes, plain cuffs and four pockets on the front. Each epaulet has a small general service button, as does each pocket to secure the flap. The collar has provisions for collar discs to be worn on. There is no insignia or patches on the tunic. The tunic is in pretty rough condition. There is no moth damage, but the cuffs are frayed, there are a couple of stains and a few holes on the sleeves. This would look good in a display or trench warfare, it's sure got the look!
