This book was edited by Maurer Maurer, published in 1978 for the Office of Air Force History, Headquarters USAF Washington DC, the narrative is 2033 pages and is illustrated with black and white photos and drawings. All the information anyone needs to research WWI aircraft, tactics, pilots, uniforms, squadron insignia and statistics and much more. This is a valuable tool in your reference library. It was formerly owned by a doctor and has his ink stamp on the inside cover of Volume 1. All images shown are from Volume 1. This four volume hard back set is in like new condition, an absolute must for the WWI US aviation collector.
