This is a Deutschalnd Erwache Political Party political badge dated 1933 from pre WWII Germany. These lapel badges were originally sold to raise funds to the Nazi Party during the 1933 elections. This slightly convex, two piece die struck zinc badge features a red and white enamel face with a canted swastika in the center, and silver lettering and numbers around the perimeter of the badge. The red and white enamel paint is flawless, while the silver on the letters and numbers shows mild degradation. The reverse of the badge features the original pin and catch, along with the RZM stamp and the code of M1/129. This code was used by Seiler and Company of Geldern, Germany. This one will make a nice addition to your German political party collection.
