WWII German M40 Shell with Reproduction Liner, Chin Strap & Modern Normandy Camo Paint

This is an authentic German M40 helmet depicted in Normandy camouflage pattern. This is a very well executed piece that came with a small collection of authentic WWII German out of Georgia. The tri color paint scheme make this one really stand out! The shell is stamped Q64 on the left side and in the rear N225. The Q represents the Quist plant in Esslingen Germany. The number 64 is the shell size. The number N225 is the production number of that particular lot. The helmet has a reproduction M31 helmet liner and chin strap. The liner is stamped as a size 56. The helmet has a single decal, a second pattern SS decal on the right, making this a Waffen SS helmet. This one has all the bells and whistles! While the shell is authentic, everything else has been added to make a "Normandy Camo" helmet. If you can't afford a real one, this one will fill in just fine until you can!
