This is a copy of Newsweek magazine with a date of 27 January, 1941. The first issue was published on 17 February, 1933 and is still in print today. This magazine, Volume 17 was printed prior to the United States entering World War II. The 64 page magazine featured stories on Franklin D. Roosevelt's third term as president, the war in the Mediterranean, the war in the far east, and whether the US should become involved in the global conflict to name a few. This magazine is complete and is in good condition. There is no damage from staining, just a couple of small tears along the bottom edges of a couple of pages, but no yellowing from age. This edition features a photograph of German Stuka dive bombers on the cover with the caption, "Stukas: New Menace in the Mediterranean". The magazine is full of great photographs and black and white cartoons. This will make a great addition to any home front collection or display.
