Korean War Era Field Trousers

This is a pair of wool field pants used during the Korean War. The pants are in issued, good condition. They are marked TROUSERS, FIELD, WOOL SERGE, O.D. 33, 18 OZ. and are made by BROOK MFG. CO. Inc. and dated 29 OCT, 1948. This pair is stamped with the waist and inseam as W36 - L31. They were worn with either a belt or field suspenders. These pants are not fitted with adjustable tabs, as they did not come out until the M1951 Field Pants were introduced. The pants are free of any damage or stains. The top button for the fly is missing however. This is an excellent example of an enlisted mans field pants from the Korean War era!
