There is no date visible on the page, just the caption FIGHTING IN THE WILDERNESS. It measures approximately 13 1/2" wide and 9 3/4" tall. The one page section of the article is mounted on a piece of cardboard and is protected by shrink wrap. This one page from the Harper's Weekly looks just the way it did when it was printed 155 years ago. There are no smudges, stains, rips, tears, creases or folds on the page. The black and white illustration shows three distinct lines of battle. If you collect Civil War documents this piece will fit right in!
