Civil War Period Enfield Paper Cartridge

This is an Enfield paper cartridge from the Civil War period. The cartridge consists of a projectile and powder wrapped in a paper sleeve. The free end of the cartridge is slightly open, so a small amount of powder is inside the clear plastic tube the cartridge is in. It measures 3" in length. The paper is pretty brittle, no wonder being over 160 years old. But the cartridge is still pretty stable, and would look great in your war room!
