WWI German Post Card with Eight German Soldiers

This is a post card image of eight young German soldiers taken at an unknown location during World War I. The card measures 5 3/8" wide and 3 7/16" high. The image shows an unidentified group of German soldiers in uniform standing for an outdoor portrait. There are five soldiers standing in the front row and three standing in a second row. I believe they may be Prussian Artillerymen, as the two soldiers on the ends of the front row are wearing Model 1915 Prussian Artillery Pickelhaube helmets. They are the only two soldiers armed in the photograph, but I cannot make out the weapons at their sides. They also wear waist belts with Imperial German Army buckles. All the soldiers look to be wearing the M1916 uniform. Two of the soldiers are wearing visor caps, I believe they are NCO hats. The remaining four soldiers are wearing the "pill box" caps. The three soldiers in the center front row have ribbons visible on the uniform jacket, and look to be the ribbon for the Iron Cross. The back of the card has hand written information in pencil, along with a couple of postal cancellation stamps. One of the cancelation stamps is for December, 1918. This may be a group of soldiers who served together and survived the war and are waiting to g back home. If I can get the writing translated I will update the listing.
