This is a copy of the Confederate newspaper the Richmond Dispatch, a newspaper serving the Richmond, Virginia area. It is a Thursday Morning edition and is dated 31 July, 1862. This is the front page of the newspaper only, including advertisements. There are numerous articles on the front page that relate to the war, both in the eastern and western theaters. The paper is in fair condition, showing small tears along the edges and one longer tear at the upper left hand side. The page is slightly yellowed, but all text is perfectly legible. This would go great with your Confederate document collection.
